Author Guidelines
General Submission Requirements
Articles are submitted electronically through the journal's online submission system. Authors should register on the journal website and follow the submission instructions provided by the editorial office.
Manuscripts must not be submitted simultaneously to another journal and must not have been published previously.
The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the editorial office throughout the submission and review process. All authors should agree on the authorship order before submission.
The manuscript must be submitted as an editable Microsoft Word (.docx) file. Authors should maintain clear and consistent formatting throughout the document and use APA 7th Edition for scholarly presentation.
Any financial, institutional, or other substantive support received in connection with the research should be appropriately acknowledged.
Technology in Education Journal accepts original research articles written in English. Manuscripts should address a clearly formulated research problem and demonstrate an appropriate theoretical foundation, rigorous methodology, systematic analysis, and meaningful conclusions.
Research articles must contain at least 6,000 words. Manuscripts below this minimum may be returned to the authors before peer review for revision and expansion.
Every submission must include an English manuscript and a Persian Extended Abstract. The Persian Extended Abstract must be submitted together with the manuscript at the initial submission stage.
All manuscripts must follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 7th Edition (APA 7th). APA 7th must be applied consistently to in-text citations, the reference list, headings, quotations, tables, figures, captions, notes, and statistical reporting.
For double-blind peer review, the review manuscript should not contain author names, affiliations, acknowledgments, or other information that could reveal the identity of the authors. Complete author information should instead be provided through the submission system as requested.
Principles of Article Review
· Each submission is first assessed by the editorial team for relevance to the journal's aims and scope, originality, basic scholarly quality, and compliance with the submission requirements.
· Manuscripts that pass the initial assessment are normally forwarded for double-blind peer review.
· The journal may request revisions concerning academic content, language, structure, formatting, or presentation before a final publication decision is made.
· The final decision regarding publication is based on the editorial assessment and peer-review reports.
· Submitted manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism, duplicate publication, and other forms of academic misconduct.
· Authors must follow accepted standards of research ethics and publication ethics.
· If generative AI or other AI-assisted technologies have been used substantively in preparing the manuscript, such use should be disclosed in accordance with the journal's applicable policies. Authors remain fully responsible for the content and integrity of the manuscript.
Manuscript Formatting and Layout
Manuscripts must be submitted as an editable Microsoft Word (docx.) file. The manuscript should be prepared on A4-size pages with 2.54 cm (1 inch) margins on all sides. The entire manuscript should be formatted in a single-column layout using 11-point Times New Roman font. The text should be single-spaced, with no additional spacing before or after paragraphs. Authors should use italics rather than underlining, except where underlining is required for URL addresses. Tables, figures, charts, and other illustrations should be inserted at the appropriate points within the manuscript rather than placed only at the end. All table and figure titles, captions, and notes should be presented in English and formatted in accordance with APA 7th Edition.
